Once the detailed survey of an existing area has been completed, a 3D point cloud model is generated, which allow you to create a 3D surface model.
The point cloud and the model are integrated into the engineering and project environment using CAD/CAE tools. Positions and dimensions of existing elements are defined with precision and accuracy, providing reliable information for a better decision making process for designers. The use of this technique allows people to study cargo movement into free spaces. The result is a more consistent project with less repetition of construction and assembly works.

Manufacture, construction and assembly

By using three-dimensional surveys based on 3D models and metrology software, dimensional control and assembly simulation works ensure that manufactured items are consistent with project requirements. It is possible to ensure compliance during in the manufacturing phase, and before the welding process.

Prior to assembly, using this technology allows us to compare manufactured elements with the existing installation, and manufactured items against projected items, thus avoiding excessive adjustment with regards to installation settings, ensuring that both costs and downtime are reduced at the plant.

Dimensional control

Using high precision metrology sensors, the manufactured or installed pieces, pipes, equipment and naval and off-shore modules are verified and dimensionally analyzed. This is a result of comparing them with the project (document 2D and 3D) and generating a technical comparison report between both situations.
