Modern data measurement techniques allow us to ensure the quality of industrial project performance levels.

3D laser scanner technology ensures measurements are provided with a high level of detail, by collecting a large number of points very quickly, and by providing both the topography and structures with extreme fidelity and precision. It is an essential tool for measurement in areas with complex geometry, or which are congested or difficult to access.

All points collected in the field have coordinates X, Y and Z and may be geo-referenced to a coordinate system. From the point cloud, it is possible to extract planimetric and altimetric information, generate cadastral plants, contour lines, longitudinal profiles and cross sections. Furthermore, it is possible to generate 3D surfaces with texture, volume calculations and modelling structures.

As well providing a reconstruction, which is closer to reality, both the topography and structures add greater precision and reliability in both representations and in all calculations - the use of this technology allows us to complete tasks much more quickly than when using conventional survey methods.

SOLUTIONS

Any required topographic support and various scanner points shall be defined after having inspected the work site; the objective is to cover the entire area of interest and to eliminate any grey areas. Once the survey has been completed, the point clouds are processed and assembled in one single file. By using specific software, the required final products are produced: 3D models, plans, elevations, contour lines, profiles and sections,..., which can be subsequently exported into compatible format files by the most commonly used graphic tools on the market.
